I drive by there every week and I've stopped and looked at few groups of cows and bulls, a few weeks ago I saw one that was at least a 320 bull, he looked much bigger then the other three bulls in the areas.... he had about 15 cows with him. Saw him towards the west end of the lake.

Yes, just above the towers and above the campground. The property I can hunt borders the state lake property. There is one small piece that the owner wants a trespass fee thats right down in the corner of basalt that I can not hunt but the majority of the property I can get access to.

Looking for a 320" Tule?.......It may be possible but probably not from the San Luis Reservoir herd. A good trophy tule may score about 260-280.

There was a 320+ bull from there last year. So hold out for a big one. Good luck on your hunt.

Hunt starts Oct. 5th. I am excited and looking forward to it. Once in a lifetime deal so I am going to make the most of it!! Heading over again this weekend to see if anything new has moved into the property I can hunt. Last week there was probably 20 bulls on the ranch of which maybe 1-2 shooters. Just hoping with all the rutting and fighting they dont break off too badly.... The last few years some of the best bulls were passed on because they were too broken up by opening day.....
