Santa Ynez/Lake Cachuma Pig Hunting?

Good Afternoon Gents,

I am currently staying in Oxnard for work and I have this itch to do some pig hunting after I get off work next week. Does anyone have any suggestions on any areas for pig hunting. I am looking towards the Santa Ynez / Lake Cachuma area, but any other suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Just looking for an after work stress reliever...just to get out and enjoy nature.

Public land or private hunts.

Most of the land around Cachuma and Santa Ynez is private land. I've done some hunting up there and it's phenomenal but just like anywhere else, access is a real problem. I actually narrowly avoided going to jail because I was told that I had permission when in reality, the person granting it didn't have that authority. I've looked pretty hard for a way in, but no luck - it's a pretty tight-knit community. I've got a new client with a horse ranch in the valley up there, if I can get permission (crossing my fingers) I'll be up there next fall. Good luck.
