Hello and Happy New Year,
I have been playing around with digital cameras for the last couple of years.
Mostly my pictures were with a Minolta “Xi” 3mp, 3X lens.
A nice little camera, I would take it everywhere, with its very pocketable size.
I had fun with it, but it did have leave me wanting for a more powerful lens.
Well now I have a new camera!
My wife gave me a Sanyo “VPC-C4” digital camera for Christmas.

It is almost as small as my old Minolta “Xi”, slightly thicker but I still can put in a jeans pocket.
It has a 5.8X lens (equivalent to a 35mm camera’s 220mm focal length lens), a 4 mp sensor, a very good movie picture capability and an incredible macro mode that allows you to get as close as ¾’s of an inch.
I have taken a lot of indoor holiday pictures and I’m very satisfied.
Now I’ve just got to get outdoors, and test it on some nature shots.
See-Ya,
John
