I commute to San Jose and take the back roads (Uvas Rd.) so I can catch glimpses of wildlife. Today I saw deer, several flocks of turkeys, a Canadian honker sitting on a fence (unusual) and a rooster pheasant sitting on the same fence just a few away. I almost stopped to take their picture, but it's Friday and I wanted to get to work so I could get done and get home. Then I saw this beautiful specimen and I had to flip around and snap a few pic's for all of you. C'mon you can admit it....you love pigs too

Alright, your new job everyday is to drive on that road to and from work and feed our addiction with regular hog sightings.

Great pictures. Looks like a good sized boar. I got to get me a bow and learn how to shoot. A lot of these land owners near San Jose will let a guy come in with a bow, but not a rifle. Another JHO member (who shall remain anonymous) hunts many of those pieces of property with his bow.
