The one with the synthetic stock is a Browning A-bolt Stalker in .308 Win.

The one with the wood stock may be a Blaser in .308 as that's what I heard QEU bought a couple years ago. Don't know the details as I personally have not seen the rifle besides in photos that he sent me.

thanks, glad I am not the only one frustrated and wondering if I am just blind or something. Guess thats why they call it going for a hike with a rifle.

The wood stock rifle is a Sauer 202 Forest in 308. This is a Bolt action rifle made in Germany by JP Sauer and Sohn. There are a few YouTube vids on this rifle but the most famous one is the driven boar hunt by Franz Albrecht where he used the same rifle but in different configuration. This one is 20" semi heavy barrel. Smooth 60 degree bolt throw. Balances very well with the Leupold RX 2-7x36. I had to shorten the LOP from 14in to 13in. This one came with a 5 shot single stack magazine. Barrel can be swapped with other SA with supplied tools. There are a few 202 listed on gunbroker but you'll be lucky to find the Forest for sale in the US. If you like auto loader, check out the Sauer 303, my next gun.
