So how do we get there?

If you have a SBNF map, the forest roads will be labeled. 1N09 is up Hwy 330 from San Berdoo. It branches off to the east from 330 on one of the first large sweeping turns after the City Creek Ranger Station, before you climb up into Running Springs. I think 1N09 used to (or is still ) called "city creek trail".

Current Update (4-24-06): 1N09 is washed out. No report if that is before or after the shooting area.
