Yeh its nice and serin out here, out on the trails now in another area, all wallows are dry so far, saw nice bobcat, stay tuned!

WOW! Thanks for the info....Going up there with my family for Thanksgiving. My niece and her husband lives in Winsor. Her Dad and Father-in law know some property owners (vineyards) that said I could help them get rid of some Hogs....CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!
I'll take both my boys and my daughter and try my luck.

Yeh it was a great day to be scouting Lake Sonoma, it is very dry in most of the areas, even after the heavy rains last week the wallows were solid dry and the ground is very hard in all areas and hardly any fresh rooting in the common areas, liberty glen area is usally tore up by the camp sites and there was no rooting at all. So l.s. needs a lot of rain for sure.
I covered 4 areas yesterday, a lot of miles but I am in great shape, I ate l.s. up yesterday no problem , my long distant bicycle riding pays off for sure.
This will give u an idea how far I hike, this is area 2 out of 4 that I scouted yesterday after 2 1/2 hrs of hill work in area 1.

Nice group of fat quail st the park.

I registered to for the hunt yesterday at the rangers office, new tags are nice!

I'd go out but my out board died during the sonoma deer hunt. And Huntr Doug & I saw quite a few pigs.

Henmar77 I new someone would say something about that photo, but I don't surgar coat anything I say or do, just being real and honest.lol Yeh that was first round after a few miles of hiking just brought my back up bow just to shoot a few rounds on thier nice outdoor range, just flinggin arrows for fun did not compensate for the steep incline or focus hard, just enjoy shooting...

Yeh Pat the way things were looking yesterday with pig activity on land I think boating for pigs in those hard to hikein areas will be productive for sure....tra
