So, my 6 year old daughter comes home all excited yesterday...

"Daddy!! Guess what we saw this morning while riding the bus?!"

"Uh, what?" I answered thinking it was the usual horses.

"A wild pig!!"

Thinking it was prolly RK, I asked "Was it alive?"

"Yeah, it was running along the fence"

I'm getting more interested.."How big was it?"

"This big!" she say, putting her hand up past her waist...She's tall, over 4 feet already. Big pig.

"Was it alone?"

"yep".

"What color was it?"

"Oooo - Black" She says with a sinister look.

"Sweety, did it have tusks?"

"Yeah!" she says, putting her upraised index fingers next to her mouth, "BIG ONES!!"

"Did any other kids see it?"

"Yeah" she replies, rolling her eyes.."nobody else saw it, so I had to tell everyone to look".

Myself and quite a few others wish we could go after that piggy...She saw it in a piece of local private property, a huge chunk of land, locked up tighter than a catholic girl's school dorm...

I am working on getting on some land close by there though..

I've gotten some of my best tips from UPS and bus drivers. Train engineers too. They see everything and they're out there evrey day. I always chat them up if I can and offer some meat or enticement.
