Three weeks after finding an adult male condor with 15 shotgun pellets lodged in its body, biologists at the Ventana Wildlife Society found three lead pellets in a juvenile female.
Nice to see two important facts pointed out: 1) Hunters are not the ones shooting condors, and 2) the lead poisoning is most likely not from the shot pellets (which are presumed to be lead).
