Anyone know where I could start my search to acquire a sincere land owner elk tag?

Depends on where and how much you are willing to spend. Calling the DFG would be where I would start or guides if you want that route. I know Tejon has some but they are not cheap.

Forget CA if ya wanna nice elk. Bigger racks in AZ, NM, UT and more elk in CO. Your budget may determine where ya hunt.

oh yeah forget CA! just discovered the NM Fish and Game Land Owner tag system looks real good.

Actually if I had the cash California would be my first choice. I can draw out of state tags for rocky Mountain but tule tags are only in California and a trophy on and of themselves. Just me though.

CO has the greatest numbers of elk and landowner tags. If bow hunting know that GWs now have devices to test let-off of your bow, anything over 80% will get you a citation now. Idiots.
