A buddy of mine was striper fishing below the Nichlos bridge Sat. Said they got eight to the boat. He also said they snaged a few shad. Seems a little early but I guess it's time to brake out the ultra lite and darts.
Went Shanghai Bend yesterday 4/28. We caught shad for a few hours til we were tired of catching them. The big female are up already also. Most years the males would just be showing up now.
