It aint much of a HOG, but trust me, to her its a GIANT! Krista, my gf, takes her first pig on July 27th. She was raised in a Anti hunting/firearms family. Then she met me...... o yes, dinner at the inlaws couldnt be more fun! I got her comfortable around firearms, then bows, then I started taking her on a few of my hunts here and there, untill she finally started draging me out! So you all could imagine how proud Iam of her for opening her eyes to life and stepping into the hunting world!
P.S. Plus ya cant beat lil porker meat!

Hightechhunter,
She chose to use my .270 for her first pig hunt. I believe she was worried about missing with her bow and all the hell she would catch for it.

Nikola,

That's an awesome story, I applaud you for introducing hunting to a non-hunter (and a good looking one at that). Truly, any animal earned is a trophy. Congrats to your GF and you as well!

AWESOME, you gotta love turning an anti into a pro hunting/gun person. Nice work, she's a keeper for sure!

wow, calling the GF parents a the "in-laws" already? i guess i would to, she is a keeper. that is a GREAT PIG! for me, having my SO hunt woudl be a double edge sword. i would love to share my love (obsession) for the sport with her, but having my solo hobby is great too. great job teaching her the ropes. my wife will never go.

easymoney,
We actually did have her folks over couple days ago, I made a killer loin dish. Her dad tried it and said he couldnt get the "pic of the pig" out of his head, and her mom wouldnt even try it. O well, more for krista and I!

Nick,

Great job. Don't sweat the parents. I'm sure her excitement will be evident to her folks. Glad you have a girlfriend that understands the excitement of hunting. Bring her by the archery range on Wednesday night and I'll congratulate her myself!
