Me and my girlfriend went up to the ranch to see if the hog where moving. The first evening we started glassing a big canyon that the hog's bed up in,before dark we see a group of 10 feeding up the side of the canyon. We jump in the jeep to close the distance but by time we got there is was to late. The next morning we hunted the same canyon but no luck. We made a game plan to glass the same area where the hogs where feeding the evening before. We park the jeep and walk to the canyon and start glassing. After about a hour I tell her to stay here and i am going to glass another part of the canyon. I make it to my glassing point and sit down and then BANG I hear a single shot from her 25WSSM. I take off in her direction. When i reach her the first thing out of her mouth is I shot the BIGGEST 1 in the group:smiley_yahoo:.My first question is where is it at and she points to the bottom of the canyon GREAT. 2 hours later I get it back to the jeep. I was beat!!!!!!!!!!!! But worth it She was due for a hog.
