I recently found three sheds from three different bucks all within two feet of each other on a trail from a feeding area to a bedding area, is this possible or did another shed hunter find these, put them down and forgot to pick them back up. I been in the area hunting and have not recently seen anyone moving about.
Thanks for your help

My guess is that the bucks were doing some sparring and knocked off each others antlers. I have found two antlers off different bucks that were nearly laying on one another but never off three deer that close, but it's definetly possible.

I found a matched set laying abourt two feet apart with a forked shed in the middle. The bucks probably dropped them there and not some absent minded shed hunter. Was there anything laying across the trail/steep bank that would make them jump, slip or snag their antlers as they went down the trail??
