Sheds and dogs

This was from 2 weeks ago!! I found 8 big whitetail sheds in 4 hours!! The dogs had a blast too.

Suzie (Chocolate on the right) actually ran over to one before i got there and gave it to me!! Thats a real good sign!!!

Have you given your labs any training in hunting sheds? A great day's work. I am working on with a Mountain Cur pup. Right now he is just gettin settled in to his new home.

I got Champ (Black lab on the left) when he was 2.5 years old. He's great on birds, so I started using antlers in place of training dumies just so he'd get excited if he saw one.

It woked!! he has brought back antlers to me that I wouldn't have seen but he doesn't have the drive for them as he does the birds (antlers don't move and don't have wings).

Suzie is my girlfriends dog and I introduced her to antlers right when we brought her home. I let her chew on them and play with them ect. She's 8 months old and definitly get excited when she see's an antler!! She has great potential to be an antler dog!!!
