Provided it's not a sow with cubs, yes. From this angle, the space between the ears is a dead give away. Looks to be about 200-250 pounds.

I feel like it's a sow??? Longer narrow face I'm definitely no expert on it though. I've seen a lot of bears but lately I'm trying to judge them. Not that I have a problem with people shooting sows(dry). As much as I want to see bears controlled, I still don't want to see orphaned cubs. Is that an older cub behind her ?

Hi, thanks for the replies. I have been getting a lot of traction through that area. I was reading up on it and it seems like I could harvest a sow or boar (as long as sow has no cubs). The CDFW website says a cub is defined as 50 pounds or less and less than 1 year old. I will post a few more pics.

Edit: No, its not a cub behind her. A different color bear and in another pic it is.
