Shot in the neck

Some sick bastard shot my Golden in the neck yesterday. She's ok, but I just dont understand why someone would do that. She was in the yard. Sounded like a 9mm.

Tonka, glad she's doing OK. I don't get it either. How could anybody do anything to an animal that looks a cute as that. Even with the headgear.

A better question is: What in the *&#^ is someone doing blasting a centerfire off so close to your house without a life threatening situation?

Tonka, SO glad she is OK. I have said in other posts how much I love dogs and animals in general. People that mistreat animals rate just above child molesters and rapest. SCUM. Thank God no children were out playing in the yard could have easily been one of them from a stray bullet.

I'm happy to hear she's ok Tonka. I'll be happier when you tell us you caught the S.O.B. though. How could anybody do that to a pretty little girl like that? They they should have the same done to them.

so sorry to hear that. my golden[linus] had a cone on his head when he broke his paw..He hated it. I hope yours recovers okay.

lan-lord, good looking pup. Mine is almost 5 years old now and it looks like yours is almost as big as she is. She's small but has no problem draggen a goose in for me. Believe it or not she is learning to point.

Goldens will do anything to please the boss.

Looks like we might have the kids that shot her.

Wow! I can't imagine what I would do if someone shot my dog. I hope you got the right guys and your dog is doing better.

All I've ever had are Golden's. You are so right about them wanting to do nothing but please you. The one I have now and his father who passed away a year ago have been awesome hunting dogs. I hope we see more Golden's out there hunting soon.
