No lower choppers?[/b]
Yep, and he never had them. Notice how the uppers don't have the flat edge where the uppers and lowers should meet.

Here is one my dad shot 1 week ago approx. 2" long tusk. Not the biggest, but most recent. He is 57 yrs old and does all his hunting with an .30 M1 Carbine. All 1 shot kills. When I have the time, I'll take pics of all his past kills.

I've been very fortunate to have harvested several nice hogs in my life. Many outside the USA. Here's a few photo's I've had loaded on my page here at jesse's

Jesse_Nov2006.JPG

a sow from this year in Northern California, no teeth but a nice size animal

1530IMG_1208.JPG

A shoulder mount I did of my (at the time) biggest wild hog shot in Polk County Tennessee on a Public hunting area hunt! It scored 19-15/16 SCI points. That's a massive score for a free range natual wild hog.

1530IMG_1334.JPG

This was outside the USA and my biggest wild hog. The hogs from Europe can be quite big!

The nice skull after my Beetle colony picked it spotless

1530Boar3.jpg

This is the hog from Tennessee

1530IMG_1805.JPG

Warthogs are a very sick passion of mine

1530IMG_1902.JPG

yet another monster hog. I would hunt Warthogs over buffalo any time!

1530Warthogs.jpg

There are five noce hogs here, but I have 9 altogether, just no photo of all 9 in one shot.

Anyhow, I could keep posting hog photo's for a while but you get the idea, I've got a serious hog sickness. And I have a license and tag good for one more in California before June!

Thanks for sharing your wart hog with us. I have a Buddy that owns a Bowhunting ranch in South Africa and can hunt alomst for free But who can afford the Airplane ticket. Check out his web site. He got the best prices on animals you wish to take. http://www.bowhunt.co.za/ his name is Benito. We took the Adavnce Archery instrustor Class together here in Gilroy and he stayed at my place.

[attachment=36955:attachment] OK Pat,

Here is my biggest Hogg. Only 2 1/2 inch cutters.

My biggest cutters come from a much smaller and older boar he was about 150 LBS with 3 1/4 inches of teeth along with a bunch of scars, he was one ugly pig.

Need a scanner to post him up

JJHack,
Like you I am a Hog Afficionado. I also like venison, but there is something about Porky that tingles my blood and gets my trigger finger twitching. Whether pointblank smacking in Texas treestands or long range swatting in the California hills, I go for it with hot blooded gusto. It is a tasty meat and a smart quarry. Also it can bite back when cornered. Your trophies posted here at JHO are well received and very much appreciated. Keep hoggin' and postin'. We drool at your exciting adventures. God Bless.
