The Department of Fish and Game has extended the application deadline for two upcoming junior pheasant hunts. Applicants now have until Monday, Oct. 4 to apply for two Game Bird Heritage Special Apprentice Hunts to be held Sat., Oct. 16 at Headwaters Honker Preserve in Plumas County.
