I see the Eastern Fishing and Outdoor Exposition at the Worcester Centrum Centre will have the Silver Ridge buck shot by Fred Goodwin on display this year, dates are Feb. 5-8. I've stood and looked at it many times and it is truly a huge head with incrediable spread and a lot of character like many of the famous Maine bucks.

Heres a pic of a skroncher shot last year up in the county, Shot by a fellow from Pa. it is a 15 pointer that scored 179 5/8 points as a non-typical. Got everything I like in a Maine buck with good spread and those rugged heavy beams I like so much.

Least with the outdoor shows we got something to look forward to this winter. I guess some night time coyote hunting will be on the agenda real soon for me now that the fields are snow coated for visibility.

Boy, that score is an understatement for that buck! I'll likely try to get to the Worcester or Springfield show this year, so I'll be looking forward to seeing the Silver Ridge buck. DL

Quilly,
If that's the case then you'd better call Larry direct as I don't think they sell his knives at the shows, which he usually doesn't go to anyway. Send me an e-mail or PM and I'll give you his #. He'll even custom make one for you if you want and if he's in the mood.
