What kind of changes ?

They changed the process for the sweat line drawing. Instead of putting your name on a piece of paper into the bucket, everyone signs in on a numbered list and then an automated system generates the order. Seems like a good change and will be faster and more fair.

Do we have to be there at any certain time? Or normal time after the resis are done?

From another site:

"Tom advised me that the cut-off time for signing up on the list will be 3:30 AM at the latest and he recommended that you get there by 3 AM to be sure you get on the list. This is because the Sweat Line drawing will be completed while the reservations are in the process of being given out. "

Well I must say that I hate it. Maybe because we were dead last. And it does still fall on he who signs the party up. #45 on the refill. At 9 only 2 blinds came in with limits. Really didn't seem like there was a whole lot of shooting going on. Went home. Hope everyone else had a great opener. Gonna try it again Wednesday. And got a 27 for Wister Saturday and # 1 Sunday. Good shooting fellas.

As for the new sweatline, I wasnt there to see how it went at 330. I was on of the first to sign up. So if your going to sweatline it get there at 3 like Tom says. He grabs the list at this time. And ofcourse there will always be those idiots who but there name in more then once. So he had to rerun the numbers a second time. And they don't hunt.

So what time does the list get out there to start signing it? Sounds like another attempt to get high tech and making our experience more difficult . Sometimes the old fashion way is the best way. Can anyone say that it was great and everyone got to the blinds regular time or faster?

List comes out about 3. He takes the list at 330.

This is nothing new Delavan and Colusa have been doing it for a long time. Sign up time ends at 8:30 pm. It's a game of chance but can help eliminate the cheaters and fights. They draw the evening before the hunt so you can decide if you want to wait for fill in or go home that evening.

faith it might take a few times to get the process smoothed out, but I'd bet big it will be better if it isnt already

I thought it went great i was about half way down the list. But it seemed to get the numbers out quicker and there is no dissapointment when some one shows up at 4:30 and gets drawn before you.
