Hi, I'm a total newbie and I'm Looking for a good place to go turkey hunting, I'm in riverside, only place I've heard of is in Julian near lake cuyamaca, any other good local areas? I'd like to try and stay within a 2-3 hour drive, I've never been so any good pointers? Maybe a class at bass pro or something? I'd appreciate any advise!

I Literally have only had my hunting license for a month and I've only gone for so far is cotton tail/jacks so yea...help me become pro! Haha

Julian holds a lot of turkeys. I live in julian but the problem is that they are smart as hell and really hold onto private property. No one I know up here allows hunting on their property. I have asked believe me! Palomar and Laguna always have some but it is a zoo! Good luck to you!
