...from my score last month at FHL, and I keep finding little blue bits of plastic in the meat as I'm chunking it out. I'm thinking, WTF?

Then it hits me..... the tip of tha Barnes TTSX is blue plastic. :smiley_doh: This is the 1st time I've killed anything with these bullets, and it took a minute to connect the dots.

BTW - wild boar enchilada's are pretty damn tasty. :toast-yellow:

Ban lead so the condor will not eat the lead slug that you take home when dressing the animal, even though condors are known to eat lead tire weights... So in turn, you eat plastic becuase of this. Pretty neat!

I'm gettin' the itch to go pig hunting again at FHL. Are you stationed there now, or are you still in SLO?

SF East Bay, so we won't be able to car pool.

Let me look at the calendar and see what weekend works for me, and I'll PM. I need to get my shotgun sighted in, too..... maybe this week if I'm lucky.

Do you have your FHL paperwork all squared away?

Sounds good, and I do have the FHL permit ready to go. You looking to do a weekend camp only, or day trip at all? I do understand it is a lot further for you.

I just made a carnitas burrito and it killed me that it was store bought swine...

I'd be going for the weekend, but if you just wanted to hook up for a day that would be fine. I don't do the camping thing, though...... warm bed and hot shower for me. I've spent my time on the ground, and I'd done with that..... I'll leave it for you youngsters. :D

Try a hunk of that pork in a pressure cooker with onions and garlic, and a can of enchilada sauce (about 30 minutes after pressurized). Shred with two forks and enjoy in tacos, burritos, tamales. Yum!
