Hogs Gone Wild Television Seeking Tales Of Giant Boar Encounters

Hello there,

I am one of the producers on the Discovery Channel TV Series, Hogs Gone Wild, and I’m currently looking to film a segment in California, in mid-March. I’m looking for someone, or a company, such a winery, ranch, farm etc that has had a large or giant boar encounter, and who would care to share the experience on camera. It has to be a dramatic story with something physical or some livelihood at stake.
I thought you might know of someone like that. Thank you,

Cordially,

G. Caroselli

Well, from what I've seen on that show if it involves firearms or even a bow (in other words some type of legitimate hunting) they'll have nothing to do with it. On the other hand, if you've ever dove on top of a hog and tied it up, you're in.

Would you guys watch the show if I was wearin the Captain Spaulding Clown Makeup and wrestling a boar to the death? I would come flyin off the top ropes with an elbow drop then proceed to choke that sucker out....

If I were on there, some shooting would be going on! Piss on this whole wrestling to the ground and hauling away somewhere else! You paid me to take care of your little "problem" and you are going to get your nose rubbed in my reality! (My pork and red meat does not come packaged in cellophane, nor does it come from the butcher)

So, probably not.

Dave, I would watch. In fact I would travel anywhere in the state to watch in person!

Hog (hunter) wrestling

OK, instead of DirtyDave wrestling a hog, how about “hog hunter wrestling” where DirtyDave takes on “all comers” and bought to you by the HHWF (HogHunterWrestlingFederation). I’ll definitely travel to see that and meet the ol' pro JHO hoggers…

As the self-proclaimed arbiter of legitimate forms of the pursuit of wildlife, perhaps you could enlighten me on the reasons why using dogs and ropes to take hogs is illegitimate.
