Great link , Canam, and very eye opening. Makes one wonder even more how those MOTV guys always get their primo tags

It's 'Hollywood' .... sometimes the editing is so poor you can see things like power lines, fences or even traffic in the background. Sometimes the animals tagged are not even the animals shown being shot. Also quite a few outdoor industry people have been busted over they years.

I was also wondering if some get handouts from the States...kind of a way for States to promote?

These aren’t high budget productions and filming wildlife isn’t like a Hollywood set. I just watched ”Mega Hogs” from the series Monster Quest on the History Channel. Was it perfect? No, but it was a good show that featured a lot of wild hogs and nice camera work. Most guys here can’t even take a picture.

How many points does a WY resident need to draw? You could get a general tag?

We don't really work on the point system here. I'm not even sure if that is a thing for us or not. I can do general, but that is getting old. I do have friends with land who need depredation, so I might try that.

For 2025 archery OTC deer (NR) they go on sale (on line only) November 4, 2024 at 0800 hours (Mountain Time). They only sale 2820 NR archery only deer tags so they are on a first come first serve basis. They will sell out quickly. You just have create/have an AZ G&F portal account to apply.
