Sonoma 09-10 hunt season?

Does anyone have any current information for this years hunts? Maps, dates, details on checking in, etc?

Working for the fed-gov and not having weekends off I am trying to plan some vacation time to get over there and do some hunting.

yeh JNDEER, registration starts Nov. 4 th. and bowhunting starts Nov. 28 th., it sucks that we cant hunt on mondays and tuesdays (my days off) oh well, so i have to use personal time off to hunt there too, i want to try and get a handfull of hunts up there this season and plan on hunting wendsdays and thursdays and possibly fridays, so if ya want to hook up to share a hunt let me know a couple of weeks in advance and i can scheduale it off. have a great day!............tra

DSP, i had a great time bowhunting earlier this year at L.S. with a couple of other guys and one scored a nice sow with a bow, i passed a dinker up and another jho member got a hit with no recovery all in one day up there and i know some other hunters who were successfull. I am making planes right now for the upcoming bowhunting season at L.S. for plh wild piggie's! good luck this year and have a great day!.........tra

I decided to try and answer my own question by looking up lake sonoma on the cdfg web site. While there I read all the rules of the lake and noticed the recomend you leave the gut pile in the field to attract more pigs! Is this leagal? is that considerd baiting? I tried to find the answer in the regs but couldn't find it. I don't hunt pigs much so I don't know all the regs on them.

goindeep. i gut and dump almost all the animals i kill. i dont think of it as bait, but i would hate to do the "wet work" in my driveway. i bet the yotes get to it first anyways.

sancho- I know what you mean, I leave all my gut piles in the woods too. I was just curious if it was legal to hunt pigs over a gut pile?

I've hunted over dead cow for pigs, never asked a warden if that was bait or not. Sure didn't smell like bait I'm here to tell ya.
