Sonoma County Hog

This nasty hog was taken this weekend right above Lake Sonoma. It's easily got the best set of long unbroken tusks I've seen from that area. Saw a few hogs but it appears since the stoppage of the public land archery hunts they have moved back over the hill down to the lake. I've been reading this site for a while figured it was time to post.. Good Luck Hunting......I gotta figure out how to post apicture I'll try again. Any help? Can't figure it out..

It wont load all the way for me? Maybe it's just the two different computers I tried...but I can only get the top inch of the picture to load...no hogs

Same result as EvBouret.....only was able to load the top portion of the pic. Can't wait for you to reload again so I can get a full view......

Go into your tool bar and re-size the pic to under 640 wide. If this tech moron can do it, anyone can!! Nice to see a good hog come from my neck of the woods

If you are using a windows computer right click on your picture then click on "open with", And then click on paint. Your picture will appear and then click on the top tool bar where it says "image". Then click on "stretch/skew" and you can play with the image size until you get it to 640x640. Sounds complicated but it really isn't. I had been having problems resizing my pictures but another JHO member set me straight (I think it was SDHunter). Good luck and get that damn porker up so we can all see it!

I've opened it, downloaded it, resized it and played with it and only get the top bar. Sounds like a good one though. What's your secret to success Mike

I tried Mikes suggestion here goes.. Boar went around 235 lbs or so real healthy.

Frisco, great looking hog.

That is about the same coloration of one that I stuck an arrow in the front right shoulder a couple of month's back and wasn't able to recover. I'm looking forward to October when L. Sonoma opens back up for hunting. Congrats again. YB

Yes, there are a lot of those color-phase hogs up there. In fact, that was the color of the hog that AS took when we were all up there a few months ago. I was a great trip, but LD seemed more Interested in bird watching?

I think that sounds like a good plan just let me know when you're sending them up the hill, hehehe. Seriously the job you all do there at the Lake is truly heroic. We are lucky to have hard working people like you allowing citizens like us to keep using our heritage (public land ) for a common good.
