Sons first hog

13 year old son shot his first pig saturday. Missed just over the back with first. Got himself together and broke her back with second shot. 220 yards on the run. What a great experience to see the look on his face when flipped over. He jumped up and yelled "I got a jog" nothing more rewarding than being with your kids in the outdoors watching them succeed.

What is your son shooting? My kids (twins) are 16 now, but started with 7mm-08, which is a fantastic deer sized game caliber.

Hit her back and flipped and couldn't get back up and just screamed. Her back was snapped. That bullet smoked her.
