Sony DSC-H1

Anybody had any expierience with this cam? In the market for an upgraded 10x zoom cam and this one has gotten my attention.

The H2 is coming out in mid April according to Sony's site. Might wait on it.

Anybody have one????????????

in2blacktail recently purchased that camera. I've been impressed by the photos he has posted from it.

My first digital camera was a sony, and while not typically known for cameras, I think Sony makes a very good camera. They use zeiss glass, and have a relatively clean CCD.

Another camera that I like (but do not have any experience with) are the panasonic cams. Some of them have a 12x zoom, anti-shake.. and photo quality that I have seen looks good.

Thanks for the heads up on the new H2. I wonder what changes/ improvements will be made to the H1.
I really enjoy the camera. I still find myself looking in the manual a lot to get myself out of trouble. I beleive this is attributed to my lack of camera knowledge which will come in time. I am looking forward to some photography classes in the future. Before I bought the camera I did do a lot of online review research and think they were pretty accurate. The zoom within the H1 is very impressive.

Thx guys I appreciate. I'm still undecided. I played with a few store models the other day. Ruled out some just from that.

IN2....I looked at the specs on the Sony site and I didnt see much difference. But I have an untrained eye so I'm sure I've missed some things. The spec sheets are close, but when it gets deep concerning the comparisons I get a little unsure of what I'm reading.
