I have a question for you all. I'm going on a South Africa hunt in the summer of 2007 and I was wondering if any of you know of a few good on-line web stores for good safari clothing? Thanks in advance.

Just find a vanity fair outlet mall store and they will have a massive selection of khaki pants shorts and shirts for pennys compared to the more typical stores you think of. I Buy most of my African hunting clothing from them. Shorts are like 10-15 bucks, pants 2 pair for 30 bucks it's just the best place around to buy clothing that will be ripped and torn by the end of the hunt anyway from the relentless thorrn bush.

Next option is to go the the Gap and buy a few pair of Khaki, green or olive pants and shorts. Again for little to nothing compared to the big "outfitters" that come to mind for this kind of thing. I have had countless guys wear carhart brown or green jeans, I too have a few pairs of these. One thing I have not found cheap or outside the mormal channels is a tan, olive, or khaki windproof fleece jacket. That is something I live in while I'm in Africa. It's not to hot nor to cold. It's the most perfect and quiet piece of clothing I use every morning and evening.
