That trusage would be perfect anywhere in Idaho, I think I'm going to drop a little "Annonymous Tip" into my wifes email for a Christmas idea.

I think camo clothes are great for the bow hunter and any hunter for that matter. I think that the only reason I really have camo clothes is so I wear those camo clothes only for hunting or related outdoor activities and save my jeans and fannels or any other peice of clothing I have so I can at least look presentable if I go out. Have to make the wife happy so she lets me go hunting and fishing even more.

Sorry didn't answer the question of what type of camo pattern I use in SOuthern California D14, D11, D8. The answer is anything that is on sale. I have a mix of everything. Natural Gear from Walmart, Real Hardwood and Prarie Ghost from Bass Pro Shop, Mossy Oak from Cabelas, and I wait for after the season to buy it for the next season. I usually may $4-5 for a long sleeve shirt and $15 for pants.

Speck,
Some of the patterned shirts I have seen from a distance would make great camo imo.
In LA, I sometimes have to drive through West hollyweird, and there are some flamboyant clothes.
From a distance I wonder if it's a camo pattern (Camo is hip nowadays) or a flamboyant shirt.
A silk flower-patterned shirt might be a great summer camo shirt. Just don't wear it to a bar in hunting country.

Bluejeans, a tan shirt and an orange hat for me. If other hunters are around, add an orange vest.
