That is one heck of a deal. With the minimal rain we'll probably be getting this winter, the weather should be manageable too.

I've got too danged much going on this upcoming year, or I'd be all over this one!

What is the minimum number of hunters?[/b]

There really is no minimum. What that means is you can come by yourself, you dont need a group to book it. But most likely there will be 7 other hunters on the hunt. Max number is 8.

NOTE: The only way to secure a spot is with a deposit of $100. You will have 7 days from the time you commit to this hunt to have your deposit in. Being the holidays, I expect these hunts will not fill up until after the first of the year but you never know.

Not that anyone wants to hunt with me but I'm leaning towards the Feb 1-3rd if the warden lets me go.

Edited to say.... Not that the warden wants me around, I should be good for the Feb 1-3 but I still need to file the proper paperwork and offer bribes.

According to Google maps and assuming the north end of LA it looks like about 4.5 hours. One of the LA guys may be able to offer a more realistic guestimate.

I think Orso and Bighorn67 live down that ways and have been to Choppers. Yahoo maps puts LA-Hollister at 4.5 hrs. Add another hour at least to be safe.

Thats a good deal. If I didn't have two taxidermy bills I would jump on it. As money is really short till spring.

I'm already booked in March, but I may be in for the Feb 15-17 hunt as well. Is this one still open?
