Squirrel/rabbit trap bait

Howdy,

   What can I use to bait rabbits, foxes, squirrels, etc. into a trap?  Thanks,

Rabbits, use apples, sliced into 8ths (I prefer Granny Smith).

Foxes, you will need to use a meat based lure, urine lure or an eye lure (feather, etc).

Apples are the magic ticket for rabbits in box/live catch traps around here.

Around here I use pinapple for everything. It is sweet and it smells good. They like that sweet stuff. When that doesnt work I use corn/bird seed (squirrels/rabbits). Never have trapped fox before I would have to built a bigger box trap.

I grew up over in Roanoke and my great grandpa used to bait his rabbit traps with the trusty 'ol carrot.  It seemed to do the trick, 'cause we ate a lot of em.

i know squirrels and mice LOVE  peanut butter. it works great
