Last year, i had the idaho map out, at i was dumbfounded. i read and read..but i couldnt narrow it down to where we could go. this year we got an insider!!

i met some guy. he says he has five great elk spots. he has hunted those things since 1981 and is very successful. he gave me a spot!! right down to which road to go, where to camp..where to hike to.

dang..i need to step of the cardio and leg exercises!!

I thought Colorado was a lot of hills to hike. My friend tells me you are in for some great hills and calf burning cardio. Use a 4x4 and do toe lifts daily. It helps more than any other home exercise I have used. By October I am doing the lifts with 25-45 pound weights.

Let us know when you get back how it went and how the hills are........ or wait I mean how big the elk is.
