California has Community Property Laws, so Kester's wife can inherit the property tax free.

When my first wife died I married a woman 23 years younger, and when I die my wife will marry a younger man and pass in on to him. The transactions are tax free, but they can't go on for ever, because of a limit on the age of marriage. I think California is age 13 for a woman?

The number one reason why family farms and ranches get lost is because of this stupid death tax. Rediculous.

There was no Death Tax when my wife died, because we were Joint Tenants. I think the problem with ranchers is they try to bypass their wife.
