A Customer of mine brought this Shed to me a couple of Days Ago.He said he looked out in the backyard and found it just lying their!!!He told me that the "big One" is still coming to his feeders and is still carrying his Antlers!!!
I've found them in yards myself, but never out in the open.Usually along the back edge of the yard out of site of the homeowners.
Post some pics of the big boy if he also drops in yard. That shed you posted pic of doesn't look too small, would love to see the big guy.
Nice drop....you gotta be from around Rochester...no?? Otherwise that shed would've been covered with snow probably. Anyway, let's see the big one when he drops.
Shed Update,
The other matching Shed was found yesterday! The customer that brought me in the Shed I posted came in today and told me his neighbor found what appeared to be the second antler dropped by this buck! He told me that it was found in chicken wire that the neighbor used to protect her Mulberry bushes with!!He said he was trying to talk her into giving me the Shed since I was holding the other Half. She told him she was going to ask her nephews first to see If they wanted it?Hopefully I can at least get a look and a picture off this Shed!!!
Well I recieved the second shed today. It wasn't the matching side but a different shed all together Alittle bit smaller but another shed from a 8pt.? My daughter got a kick out of it.......
Wow!! This picture really shows how nice that first shed is.I love the mass on that shed.Sure hope that bigger buck drops in the yard too,he must be a real hog.
Well I got a call from the Customer that brought me the Big Shed last year 2003!!! He said that he has a complete set from the Buck he gave me Last year!!!It must have dropped them last night because their was fresh blood on the snow around one of the bases and he didn't see them yesterday afternoon. It is really amazing how close this Buck dropped these from the time last year (11 days) also amazing that he did it at the same Place!!I figured when he lost the one side last night it must have drove him nuts with the "unbalanced" feeling and he forced the other off early thus the blood on the one base? This is a surburban Buck and is under no hunting pressure in a 1 mile radius, even with the rut I believe he must stay pretty close to home with all the good food and does around.Really hope he doesn't get hit by a car this year...cause I want his Sheds again next year in 2005!!!
max-WOW AGAIN!! Those sheds are AWESOME!! I hope your treating that customer good!! I found a set last year off a nice buck and got half his rack this year, but my buck's not half as nice as that guy.
That would be great to see you get his rack again next year. That buck did it 2 years, why not three.
What ever happened to the bigger buck you talked about last year?
Deershed
I am bringing them a big bag of Corn to feed their "Squirells".I guess they still are seeing the bigger Deer. I asked them If I can set-up my video game camera they said definately and where really interested in having me set it up. ineed to get a better floodlight for it but hope to set it up next week I'll post some clips in a week
Travis, I checked out your webshots-sheds. Nice bunch of sheds.....especially that "nasty" one on the left. That's what I have in my mind when I'm out lookin.
