Got my pig yesterday morning. Easiest hunt I have ever had, didnt even get to sit down and glass. I got to my spot about 7:15, walked over the hill and just glanced down into the flats. About eighty yards away I see a pig feeding by some pear. Started looking around and counted total of 8. I watched them for awhile and 4 from the group seperated themselves from the other 4. I slipped down in between the 2 groups, had the wind right and just waited knowing that either the other 4 would follow or the others would come back. Took about 20 minutes and here comes the 4 that had seperated themselves. I ranged the 2nd pig 37 yards, drew on him, and here is where it gets lucky, they must have saw me move because they all stopped and seemed to be ready to bolt. I put th 40 pin on him and let go. This pig jumped at the shot and did a north to south flip. I had a good broadside hold on him but the arrow hit him with a perfect texas heart shot. Complete pass through. Still went about 30 yards, easy follow, never saw so much sign. Now I can concentrate on deer. Good luck to all.
