Sunday the hunting Gods blessed me:hog chewing:. My neighbor called me and had permission to hunt a private ranch that was was having problems with their pig population, and invited me to go along!!!! it can't get any better than that....... It was only 45 minutes from our houses, so we arrived and had the jeep ready to go at 4pm. 15 minutes later I had my hog on the ground. Then about 1 1/2 hours later we had his on the ground. I can't thank the owners enough for giving us this chance to harvest some hogs like these! This was my first boar after many tries.

Between Gustine and Santa Nella.

Interesting to see pigs in that area. Didn't think the pigs would cross the California Aquaduct and I-5 to get to that area. It's mostly farmlands and some duck clubs in that stretch of lands along the 33. I guess that explains where all the pigs in both Upper Cottonwood and Lower Cottonwood disappeared to. By the way Congrats to you and your neighbor.
