Kentuck,my guess would be a depred permit.Method of take is pretty much wide open.A knife is cheaper than COPPER bullets. Now the transporting of live hogs is another story......Upper
You are all correct. It is not legal to use a knife, or to catch and tie, or transport wild pigs in CA. I respect my hunting privilege, and I obey the hunting regulations.
I've got no problems with knifing a hog. I just remember some fairly heated discussions on the subject before and when I saw that pic, thought, this was going to get interesting.
I was not hunting in California, that is why I was not breaking any laws. We have some good freinds in Texas, we spent a few days over there hunting with them. I figured some one would put it together, especially if you look at the photo file names.
That's gotta be cool to do. Only dog action I've been on was wild. Good thing the boar didn't have much teeth wise or one dog would have been in bad shape. Wildest thing I've ever seen.
Yes you were correct UPPER. The site with the trees is also noted in History. It is the same location that Sam Houston Regrouped after he obtained the "twin sisters" cannons, then attacked and whooped the Mexican army, after it had Defeated the Men at the Alamo. I will post the sign later for all to see.
My buddy that we hunted with is the same person that was hunting the bears that I posted in the bear section.
