Sunrise over the Strait of Juan de Fuca

I photographed this during a trip to Washington State last month. This was shot in Port Angeles. It is very scenic, would love to go back in the summer with the wildflowers (and not as much rain!)

This photo was taken about 45 minutes before the sun came up. I had the camera on a tripod and shot a long exposure in order to light up the photo.

Gorgeous photo, the last time I saw Juan de fuca strait was in 1963, we had spent 7 months in dry dock at Bremerton ship yard, we were on our way to Alaska for a shake down cruise on the USS Bennington.

Great shot lan-lord. I worked in Port Orchard one summer during college and it is a beautiful place. Good luck planning a trip with no rain though, I think it rained every freaking day we were there!
