Sunset in the mountains

My wife, some friends and I went up to a cabin in the high Sierra called Robbs Hut this last weekend. You have to ski or show shoe the 3 miles into the cabin. Great place and we had a blast. One of the sunset shots came out pretty good. I am no photographer, just a hack with a digital and like to shoot stuff so it's nothing special but the sunset colors and storm moving in look kinda cool so I thought I would share.

Yeah YB, thats the place. We had a blast and the weather was great. A little too warm actually, the snow was melting fast!

My wife and a buddy and I on the way into the cabin. The weather was great though not enough snow coverage as you can see from the bare patches in the trail.

Great capture, I second the motion on getting your wife to post some medium format photos, I was at June lake last week also, weather was perfect, great in Death Valley too.

Seems to take forever with all her other projects. She was in Russia for a month in Nov/Dec and the only pics I have seen from that trip were the ones she took with my digital, none of her other work. She shoots mostly 35mm B&W and is now playing around with a medium format camera.
