Swaro Spotting Scope (HD vs non-HD)

I've been wanting one of these scopes for years. I know I should find a shop that sells em and compare. But, I think a field test would be the only real way to compare. I'm going to get the STS-65.
The HD model is $600 more ($1770 vs $2380). I can afford it, but I'm not into throwing away money.

Anyone have experience with either or both? What do you think? HD or not?

Only get the HD if your are going to be taking pictures through it. And I'm talking about pictures with the camera attachment.
Otherwise you can tell no difference while glassing.

Exactly, The human eye cannot distinguish between HD and regular lenses.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm heading to Arizona on a scouting trip this weekend. Wish I had the scope already.
