Congrats guys!

I was up at Lake Sonoma today. Nice and cold before first light and then it warmed up nice. Saw two huge black hogs sleeping in the sun in a meadow at 9 am, but the problem was, they were on private property on the other side of the fence. A little fresh sign on my side.

I love that picture!! Thats great! That looks like my retirement dream come true, maybe one day. Gotta get the kids through college and then sell the house and leave California. They are 11 and 14 so it will be a while.

Well, just spoke w/ the boys a few minutes ago........i think they found a good spot to hunt as another big hog is hanging.

Well.....the boys just (1:30pm) put a huge move on a monster boar that was bedded down after being spotted by the one arm'd man from the cabin. They then closed the distance to 200 yards, then........................well, i'll let them tell the rest

BC dropped me off at 11:30. I am done with the two hind quarters now. It pissed rain so hard that we only hunted Friday evening and Saturday morning. 2 dead like Kirk said and I spotted a nice boar (we think)about 1 mile below the cabin at 1pm Saturday. We took off after it and were inside 200 yards an hour later and let him walk. He was in a hell hole and over 200# as he was noticable bigger than mine which went 147 gutted so about 185 or so live weight. Someone, I"m not naming any names had a rough morning and didn't want to put his purse down for the drag so we let him walk after some pictures.

I gotta get back to my hog processing but we'll post up some pics and the story behind the 2 dead ones later. Here's a teaser with a pig in the field of view way off in the distance.
