i think the problem is they dont want to upset any of the people who hold the key to their development plans ..which will bring in a million times what hunting brings in...i have seen the masterplan before and it is massive...

The DFG needs to make scientifically sound choices... they can make recommendations on what should be done as far as seasons and bag limits why not this. Letting political agendas determine the fate of the wildlife of this state is ridiculous. The problem is no one in DFG wants to stand up and take a stand against a bunch of animal activist, they are suppose to look out for the best interest of our wildlife and for hunters and fisherman... Instead they are making tv shows that make every hunter look like a criminal

DFG wasn't responsible for the law, YOU were. YOU decided not to vote against it.

Yes...you caught us. Every one of us here failed to vote against that stupid proposition. We all thought those were big cuddly cute kitties and the vote result had nothing to do with the majority of voters in the state living in SF, LA and other places like that, which are full of left leaning looneys and have over 51% of the vote, and no matter what we do we can't out vote them. I'm sure all members of a hunting web site would vote to never hunt mountain lions again. Real intelligent statement.

I did vote against it and as TonyS said the numbers even if every hunter voted are skewed

Some say Custer was taken out by a few Indians.
