Your collection is AWESOME!! Congrats!!
I like the fact alot of your sheds are fresh drops. There doesn't seem to be a rodent problem there either.
Looking forward to seeing more.

btw-Welome to the shed hunting forum!!

The sheding season for the fallow in Tasmania is right as we speak. The peak dates seem to be anywhere between 20th of october to the 10th of november. When i was up their last all the bign's had droped, and their were quite a few smaller ones still with their antlers on.I have never in my life found a shed belonging to a 5.5 year old and up in the paddocks.I guess they go away from the smaller deer so they don't get bashed,as the bign's drop first in Tasmania.Their will be a few blokes go looking this weekend,so when i go through the week next week i'll have to work abit harder for them(should'nt be to many in paddock). The property owner had'nt been feeding out so he wasn't collecting and burning them, wich led to my large first discovery.

Not to many roddents here either.Only the odd field mouse and large rat in the hay shed. The only thing to damage the antlers are the Tassy Devils.Only they are dying out from a facial tumor disease..They will chew them up.Also i have heard big fallow bucks chew on the ends of them when they first drop also, this is a rommour though. But not suprising.

On that note the second antler from the left of 2004 without set.Right at the top of palm(looks white),Is the one i think a fallow chewd on.Simply because a devil does more damage, and the teeth marks were flat like deers teeth. Not sharp like Devils or cats.

Thankyou for the welcome!

That's an awesome collection! You'll have to come over to North America sometime and do a little snooping over here.
