I could go on and on about this shed hunt.It was the best I have ever had.I went everywhere (bar 3 or 4 spots) that I had found sheds last year. But concentrated on perimetre fencing as thats where they drop when leaving the paddocks of a night (to go into public land, funny that).I didn't have tags to fill (like I always do,and hardly shed hunt) so I could shed hunt all day long for two solid days, and did.Infact I walked so hard and fast I was layed up for a day (off work) when I got back.

And last but by no means least this was the first of the trip.Gathered from the roadside whilst driving in on sun set,the day before.Probably the most awesomed colour fallow horn I have ever found. As dark as a Sasskatchewan whitetail.Going straight up their with the favourites.

I had walked past this a fair few times last year and earlier. When removed from the grass it had a cool odly shaped rear guard half way down the main beam instead of under the palm.

G'day.Buck season is upon us down this way.I've pounded about 124km's in 3 weeks in search of bucks (says the Garmin Etreck).I have found many many whities, spikes and a few dead bucks and spikes.I will post pictures of them very soon when I figure this new format out.Heres a buck I took yesterday.I don't have the time at the moment to resize and post 40+ as it lays.I'm flat out prepping for the last week of season (got 2 does to get).Once the season is over I will get onto it straight away.Heres my buck for this year. Not the giant I realy wanted but a hunt well executed and the spoils well earned (as this is not a high fence hunting operation).I will update you as to what the deer have done to that particular fence very soon (utterly destroyed it,I have pics to proove that).
Heres week two's haul.I have a week one and 3 to post.Sorry guys but time does not permit this quite at the moment.I didn't search for sheds at all.Just picked up the ones I came across while hunting for bucks.I did manage to find one in the dark again.lol.An hour before daylight as I was walking to my spot.Enjoy.
Happy hunting Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeh Jim.Thats the only big game we have on this Island (Tasmania). The thing that upsets me though is they are viewd by farmers as vermin and not game.If they had their way they would all be napalmed.
