Thanks Jesse. My freezer is officially void of game other than 2 ducks, 1 ham and 2 rabbits. I really need some deer/elk/pig in there before I go nuts!!!! Even the wife is complaining about it. She misses the hogs and says that store bought pork has no taste. I had better listen to the old girl and rectify that problem

2. Corinthian ??? not sure if you are serious about this since your hunting in Nov. Let me know[/b]

Yup... very serious (and i think with BDB on the elk hunt, that makes me no.1 backup)

My wifey has now told me that the other dates (18th-20th) that I listed as 'Nov Hunt' are completely verboten.. my likkle daughter seems to be having a birthday party that weekend (1st birthday) and if i want to have another birthday myself.. i dont think that i will miss hers.

So... yes... paste me up as willing and available (and praying that i get a space.. grin)

Thanks

Steve, I am willing to donate some pork...of course that means I better get my two.

This challenge is more of a hunt with a little incentive for ribbing. So it the same deal. Two pigs each. If you want to team up with someoone to video your hunt, that would be cool too. If it meets all the requirements, we can get you into Choppers DVD.

Cali Team:

AS
Pigig
Backcracker
Brian S. (tentative)

TEAM JUDO!!!!
Bubba
Orso
Lurediver
Speckmisser

Corinthian, theres a good chance you could mak eit in. Brian S. is busy fighting terrorism on the biotech side of things. Good chance he might be going incognito during that time (shhhh). I will get confirmation as soon as possible (before deadline)

$200 deposit due by Nov. 15th

Send to Chopper

My buddy, Chiropractor by trade. So he can take care of us old overweight guys after we drag our pigs out. The ATV has a winch now. So no more Evil Knievel stunts pulling out hogs...

OK, between a chiropractor and an ATV with a winch, I think I can go ahead and kill a big ol' boar now.

The way I see it, I have them all trained not to fear my scent, they'll just kinda hang around while I pick my hog and make my shot. Then, when I drop him in the traditional Speckmisser Hell-Hole™, I'll have the help of Bubba's ATV and winch to drag his big butt out. Then, after an afternoon of skinning and butchering, I can have backcracker straighten out my poor old back, then kick back with a glass of tasty tequila and enjoy some of Bubba's carne asada!

Oh, heck yeah!

You guys wont believe the hog I saw yesterday. For those of you familiar with the place, I was in round springs, looking east toward the big hill that runs up to the grave site. At a mile and a half away, I could see this great big hog climbing the hill toward the water tank. I figured it was time for me to take a big one and headed to the 80 acre field to try and cut him off. Wildman screwed it up for me as he shot a buck on the way. Here is a pic of the deer he got. Game camera shot below the cabin.
