I took my wife and kids to CALM Zoo yesterday, and we made a stop at the Tehachapi Loop. I've driven by the loop several times, but this was the first time I actually stopped to watch the trains. Here are some pictures my wife took.

Cool....never heard of this before. Had to call up my buddy and ask him about it since he lives in Tehachapi.

A sad thing, the old rail station in Tehachapi, on the main drag, burned down in july> It was being restored, but all the memoribilia was in storage off the premises. Kids playing with bottle rockets burned it to the ground. I mean to the ground. Sad sad, sad.

Nice shots! I was there once many years ago and was amazed at seeing the way the trains loop that pass.
