Here is a hog that was taken at Tejon. It was a big one with lots of scars. One of the ears was severed the last couple of inches and was hanging by a thread. I had a lot of sewing to do on it, but it came out great. I'm not sure why all the guides up there cut the capes up the back when they skin since hogs have such thick necks they don't need to be cut at all. The person who brought it in (one of Tejon's guides) said it was one of the largest hogs he's seen.

I can't wait to shoot one like that one of these days... and I've shot a lot of CA pigs. Congratulations, awesome pig. Do you mind sharing what time of year you shot that guy?

Thanks. I wish I had shot this, but it was for a customer. The customer actually shot another one and so I ended up with this one so I decided to mount it up for my show room so customers could see what my pigs look like. I've shot a lot of pigs, but never one this large.

Nice! Now you need a shirt that says "I hope my wife lets me hang this hog mount in the house."
