Guaranteed - Hronk will still be walking up those mountains faster than we can run on flat ground.

Sorry to hear this hunt didn't work out, but I think it's for the best. Forecast looks waaaay nasty.
Those pigs will still be there, and they prefer to be killed in nice sunny weather.

So after much reflection and consideration, how many of you would be able to make Option 2, March 7, 8, and 9? I know those dates work for me, Mark, Carl, and at least two more of that crew. That makes five.

The February dates only look like they'll work for about four of us, me, Chris, Steve (Chiro), and Sean. It wouldn't be ideal for me, but I have flexibility.

Three others, Dan, his buddy, and Keith want to roll their apps to May, along with Hronk.

We have to have at least 8 to do this hunt. As eager as I am to get out there (not hunting this weekend is gonna be a killer to me), waiting until March will give us time to readjust our schedules and maybe get this storm cycle out of the way. Seems like these systems always roll in waves, and this may just be the first of several.

I won't be able to do the Ides of March Hunt, Chris, as I'm currently committed to another hunt that weekend (a free one!).

For those of you who want to hold over until May, I'll make those arrangements. Hronk, I'm danged happy to hear you'll be able to join us. We'll go easy on ya

I need to make a decision by this afternoon, so it'd be good to hear from you guys as soon as possible. I will keep an eye on the forum, but for some reason I haven't been getting my JHO mail through my Yahoo account lately. So a phone call would be best.

I sure hope we don't end up cancelling this altogether. And if it turns out that the February dates are most do-able for eight guys, we'll go with it.

Folks, if you're not already in this (the February) hunt I'm sorry, but I won't be opening it back up to additional applications. Between my travel schedule and other things, I don't have time to manage new applications before the March date. Honestly, I just want to see this hunt happen. It's been a little nerve wracking to get it together.

Needless to say, there will probably NOT be another winter-time JHO/Tejon POR. We'll stick to the one hunt per year...

On that note, the May hunt is starting to take shape, so if you're interested in joining a JHO hunt, definitely get those app requests in soon.

OK, so finally had a brief moment to talk to Barbara. She's swamped down there, as the winter/spring season is getting into full swing... but I do need to verify who is switching their hunt to May, who is coming with us in March, and who needs refunds.

Here's what I think I have so far...

On the hunt initially I had:

Keith, Dan, JR, and Hronk want to roll their apps/money over into the May hunt.

Sean can't make either hunt at this time, and will need a refund.

Mark and Carl, I think you guys and two friends are in, right? Can you let me know?

There may be a couple of drop-ins, pending some further discussion with Barbara.

Anyone else who wants to do a JHO Hog Hunt, definitely get your requests in for the May hunt. It promises to be a good one, especially with all this water in the ground!
